Repeated crashes and blacked out sidebar #1267

Expected behavior

Not crashing

Actual behavior

Much crashing. Yeah, sorry for the lazy reporting here, but ever since the forced Sidebery update (wish I had disabled auto-updates before), it's very unreliable to me.

I get crashes on tabs several times per day. Tabs that are running processes where a crash actually breaks automated workflows and stops work progress.

Additionally, it also has a bug where the whole sidebar becomes completely black and cannot be used. Meaning no tabs are visible.

Is there any way to download the previous version? Due to the stability and crashing it isn't feasible to use this new version right now. I would include any crash logs if I knew where to find them. Any advice is appreciated.

Aside from these instability issues, I love the updates. Great new functionalities added, and I like the new look. It was jarring at first, but after going through the settings again I really appreciate all the effort that went into this huge update.

Ahh, didn't know you could get older versions there, brilliant! Thanks!
