play around with it. this is a you problem.
I have been arthur. For hours and hours. Just meager instructions/definitions would go a long way.
Group is what a folder is in your file system, you use it to group related tabs. You can make a group by right-clicking any tab(s) and click "Group". This will create a group tab. The group page can be accessed by clicking on the group tab you just created.
Panels are just another way to organise your tabs. I'm not that familiar with it since I don't really use it, but it should be pretty self-explanatory from the screenshots. You can set a panel to always open a new tab in a particular container.
Container is a Firefox feature. Containers, like what it name suggests, help to isolate cookies to prevent websites from tracking you everywhere. Another benefit of containers is that you can log in to multiple accounts at the same time in a single profile.
Sidebery's settings aren't documented sadly. Most of them are straightforward though. You will find out more hidden features over time.
Thanks very much. Much appreciated.

Concur with the original request for better documentation. I still have no idea what a "Sidebery group" is, though it obviously is not the same as an "STG group". I have never been able to get a right-click on a tab to result in any action at all. Finally, in Sidebery settings, I turned on "Use native context menu", which I believe was off by default. After that, when I right-click on a tab, I do get a context menu, but it contains just one item: "Move tab to group", and this is an STG item (with an STG icon), rather than a Sidebery item. So I still don't know what a "Sidebery group" is.
Is there an in-depth user tutorial of any kind? Something far more in-depth than what is here on Github? For instance, what is a GROUP? What is a PANEL? What is a CONTAINER? And how do they interact with each other?
On the Firefox extension web page there is a screenshot of GROUPS in a grid on the mid/right side of the page. How does a person create that page?
Anyway I've been using many types of tab management extensions and such over the years, and while Sidebery apparently has a lot of features, I can't figure out how to use most of them.
Thanks...
