Currently the only supported format is 12N34.5678

Other common formats seen:

Degree and minutes, using º and ' or ’ symbols, e.g. 12º 34.5678’ N
Degree, minutes and seconds, using º for degrees, ' or ’ for minutes, and " or ” for seconds, e.g. 12º 34'56"
Signed decimal degrees, e.g. "12.44325". Number sign indicates direction instead of N/S/E/W.
All of the above with various spaces in-between components
