Repro steps:

• Share a config that has channels unknown on another device, e.g. intership channel 1078 on a device that doesn't have such a channel.

Observed:

• Hard failure when attempting to change settings on an unknown channels

Acceptable:

• Silently ignore settings on unknown channel

Better:

• Warning when attempting to change settings on an unknown channel
