Within the Taxon explorer it is not possible to add Taxa like "Available name" 
to the subspecies Rank. It just works down to species rank.

So it is not possible yet to add Type information at subspecies level.

When I add an available name using Biolink 2.5 and reopen it in version 3.0 it 
appears as an available subspecies name as it should.

Thanks for reporting this issue. I have discovered and fixed the problem. A new
