Hard date fields should hold focus until a valid date is entered #52

"in RDE on the Start Date field, it now accepts incomplete date info and then 
errors whatever was put in to a valid date equalling the day you created the 
record ie if I type in 4/10 (for April 2010) I think the old version used to 
lock you in that field till you gave it an acceptable date ie 4/2010. Now, if I 
type in 4/10 this version accepts the change but errors it to ie 29 Jun 2011 
and lets you proceed with entering information. Can we please fix this so that 
the date details have to be acceptable before you can move out of the field?" -

Actually behaves like original BioLink, although this behaviour is influenced 
by the regional date time settings.
