boot-unlocker-gnex does not work on on Android 4.2 #27

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have a previously rooted Galaxy Nexus 4.1 upgraded to 4.2. Restore root if
necessary after upgrading.
2. Run BootUnlocker

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected Output: Root Access should be granted, and should be able to get
status, and lock or unlock the device
Actual Output: Status says it could not get root access. Other root apps can
get root access without problems

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
BootUnlocker 1.1
Stock Android 4.2
SuperUser 3.1.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I'll try to reproduce this once I get a 4.2 ROM for my toro. Meanwhile, I might
be able to debug it if you can get a logcat.

According to this post
https://plus.google.com/103583939320326217147/posts/4FemP5ACLSn this may be a
bug in Superuser under 4.2 silently failing for apps that aren't whitelisted,
rather than prompting.

If you experience this can you try again with SuperSU, or with a fixed
Superuser once that is available.

Would like to switch to SuperSU, but it seems with what you're saying, the only
way I could flash SuperSU now is to flash it. Unfortunately, after rooting, I
always restore the stock recovery and re-lock my boot loader. Unlocking the
bootloader via fastboot would erase my data, which I don't want to do now. I
guess I'll have to wait for SuperUser update for now.

Never mind. Was able to replace Superuser with SuperSU using adb shell. Works
fine. It is a bug with Superuser. boot-unlocker-gnex doesn't have any problems
with Anrdroid 4.2 on Galaxy Nexus maguro.
