Fix launch issues #21

This incorporates Manu206's change to vcgencmd for HDMI control (required in modern builds it seems) as well as a dependency fix which prevents launching, depending on what the installation has configured and the order of execution.

hi @kjendal, thanks for the PR. Sorry to everyone who tried to get this working. I simply don't have time to work on this right now. I am trusting you that the changes work as I can't test them out myself. Please remove the comment and addition to the README and I will happily merge it. :)
