[fix]: Update tools sync #48

Changelog

update colnames to match manifest colnames
remove unneeded functions and call the ones in the utils module
use print logs similar to other syncing scripts (for consistency)

@vpchung No problem, I started the draft PR in case it was helpful! I was really just trying to see if I could emulate your commit structure and coding style, so I can build better scripts 😄
