Did you mean add Podzel to Excavation Blocks?

TfT-02 commented 11 years ago

@yendor5691 Oops my bad. Fixed now.

Just a small typo, I believe it's spelled "Podzol", not "Podzel". Either that, or the entire MinecraftWiki got it wrong.

As for treating hardened clay like stone, in terms of exp gain, I don't agree. This is because hardened clay - in natural abundance - is only found in ONE biome, and we don't know how rare this biome is. Just because mycelium is common in mushroom biomes doesn't mean that it's worthless. However, if this "Mesa" biome is common, then I think it would be fine to have it give out very little experience.

And for dirt blocks with the data value of "1", breaking those drops normal dirt.

I'm not too sure why you have to remove the fishing chance catch buff due to the new enchantment "Lure". I don't think an enchantment makes a skill redundant; enchantments and skills/abilities are different. One relies on the tool, and the other relies on the player. But really, this decision is up to you (the developer-team).

Also, a small reminder, the "Poppy" is not a new block, it is simply a renamed and retextured rose.

Thanks for pointing that out.

I was thinking of granting a bit more as stone, but not a lot as if it's rare. But we'd have to see how rare this biome actually is.

I felt like the new enchantment would make the increase in bite chance superfluous. We could keep it, but we will need to decrease the maximum bonus to prevent it from getting OP.

I'm aware of that. ;)

Request: If you do retain the fishing chance catch buff, please make it configurable or able to be disabled.

gmcferrin commented 10 years ago

@yendor5691 It's already disable-able via permissions.

Update luck of Hyrule to include the new flower types?

gmcferrin commented 10 years ago

For sure. May consider expanding based on the flower, we'll see.

Melons already give herbalism experience. Otherwise, you wouldn't be getting experience when you popped the ones in a melon farm. Armor, bows, and swords have had Unbreaking available since enchanted books and the anvil were added, and it should already be accounted for. I'm not sure if it needs to be accounted for with fishing, but I don't think that is the case. We don't have any active, durability-draining skills for fishing, last I checked. Sugar cane biome tinting won't affect us at all, because it's entirely clientside, and bukkit doesn't give access to those sorts of things.

Add the new Acadia Logs to Woodcutting

Add the new Dark Oak Logs to Woodcutting

Snottiee commented 10 years ago

Is there a way to get the old bite chances back with the new update. So if a server hasn't updated to 1.7 but still wants the most updated mcmmo update?

gmcferrin commented 10 years ago

@Snottiee What do you mean, the old bite chances?

Glitchfinder commented 10 years ago

The Fishing skill, the improved chances of getting a bite at high levels. I'm not sure specifically how improved, because it varied drastically.

jaccerz commented 10 years ago

please add Deep Ocean to fishing biome list.

mmuziek commented 10 years ago

i think its best to block the vanilla treasures. otherwise people can get very much treasures in least a mount of time
