more intuitive v= values for results table snippet #211

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
The results table snippet suggested for user tests is:

<iframe

src="http://www.browserscope.org/user/tests/table/YOUR-TEST-ID?v=3&layout=simple
"></iframe>

Here, "v=3" is pretty cryptic. We have "v=top". Instead of "v=3" something
like "v=all" would be nice.

In addition to more intuitive values, please add documentation explaining them.

Added documentation of the v= param to the user tests /howto page.
I'm voting against adding a text dictionary for now - I want to put that off
until we
create a widget and have more of an api there. This would need to be supported
everywhere we use "v".
