Issues with post main page

Tracking for issues seen so far using the main page of the app:

Network time out seems to take a long time
RefreshIndicator doesn't have a loading animation
Time's dont refresh automatically, only when widget is forced to be redrawn (on vote generally)
Create post window doesn't go away after clicking button
No indication if a post is one the user created or not
