It is very hard to restore the drawer icon on the dock once it is overwritten with an other app #282

Just drag any app to the center position of the dock where the drawer icon is
set by default. It is very hard to restore the drawer icon.

I guess this is a duplicate of some other bugs

I am aware that the prescribed method to restoring this to normal is to create
a shortcut to open/close app drawer on the desktop, then drag it over. I agree
with OP, this is laborious, if not difficult.

Maybe a method to quickly reset main dock could be implemented? Like
long-press on it (and other main dock icons) offers trashcan, same as alternate
dockbar?

You should read the release notes before submitting a bug

1) Where are the mentioned release notes?
2) I am not the only one having opened such a bug. Maybe adding a release
note regarding this issue is not enough...

Release notes are displayed when you launch the application after updating it.
Maybe the release notes should be on the market page.

I know that I am guilty of not reading the release notes before posting here.

We need to remember that this is open source software that changes often. We
should always read release notes before updating so we know what changes are
about to happen. That is the best thing to do to avoid frustration and to
avoid bugging the developers with questions answered in the release notes.

In the release notes it says that it is now possible to change the midle botton
with any app, but it does not say haw to go back and restore the drawer icon.

I was also embarassed with this problem... but I didn't find the way that you
said djakrse and now I think that it is nice.

I also found the information here, with the previous drawer icon. Now that you
can change it to anything you want by building another shortcut, why not? :)
I'm rocking my Captain America Shield lol *nerded out*
