  1. Change the "Contributors" heading to be "Curation Committee"
  2. Make two sub-headings underneath there: "Members:", "Co-Chairs", and "Student Contributors:"
  3. Put Matthew Caesar and Jim Kurose under Co-Chairs, also add our afiliations, like "Matthew Caesar, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA", "Jim Kurose, University of Massachusetts at Amherst, USA"
  4. Put Michael, Vien, Liana, Andrea, Yaning, and Jianan under Student Contributors (feel free to change the heading to something you prefer -- would you prefer "Student Developers"?)
  5. Under "Members:" put "Ellen Zegura, Georgia Tech, USA", "Olivier Bonaventure, Université catholique de Louvain, Belgium", "Sanjay Jha, Univesrity of New South Wales, Australia", "Jennifer Rexford, Princeton, USA" (we will be adding more, but these will help us to start)

This will be very helpful so people know we now have a committee of famous professors signed on to worth with us.

Can you also change:

  1. Under the About LUDI heading, can it say "LUDI (Library for University Distance Instruction) aims to create a public web service consisting of a user-friendly database of open computer networking educational sources to provide an organized space for university educators to discover and share relevant software tools."

  2. At the very bottom of this page, can you add another heading "Getting help:" (or something like that), and then underneath there say "If you have comments, suggestions, or need help, please email us at ludi-help@illinois.edu"

  3. Under "Submitting new resources" can we link directly to the form?

  4. Also does anyone have access to that form? If not I will create a new one that we have access to, so we can see the results people input.

  5. Also, we have to change the email address under Contact to be "ludi-help@illinois.edu", can you change it to that? Matthew Caesar — 03/10/2022

  6. Also can we make the font size of the "count" of how many people favorited a resource bigger on the resource page (eg https://ludi.cs.illinois.edu/resource/14)? Currently it is a bit small and slightly hard to see I think. Matthew Caesar — 03/10/2022

  7. Can we also add a note at the bottom of each resource page that says "Do you have feedback or an improved description? Please email to ludi-help@illinois.edu." so people know they can help us improve these descriptions.

  8. I also had a question, is it possible to add links in the descriptions? It would be helpful to include these links to several microbooks: https://tcpcc.systemsapproach.org/ https://ops.systemsapproach.org/ https://sdn.systemsapproach.org/ https://5g.systemsapproach.org/ As part of this resource's description: https://ludi.cs.illinois.edu/resource/106/computer-networks-a-systems-approach

  9. Similarly, for the CAIDA resource (https://ludi.cs.illinois.edu/resource/78/caida), Can we append to the description ". To view see a list of public datasets, click here: https://catalog.caida.org/search?query=types=dataset%20tag:caida%20"

  10. Can we add a "category" page, with a button for each top-level category (textbooks, video lectures, tools/datasets, open-source software, etc)? This will help users who want to just browse look around.

  11. Can we add logging/analytics, so we can see how people are using the site (eg can we log what they search for, what resources they view, etc?) Matthew Caesar — 03/10/2022

  12. There is a typo in one of the names on this page: https://ludi.cs.illinois.edu/resource/144/sigcomm-open-source-networking-ebook --- "Oliver" should actually be "Olivier".

fixed issues 1-7, 10-12. For 15, I added a category page with a button for each category. Right now clicking the button for a category will perform a search with the selected category. Some search results are inaccurate, which is likely a problem with the search engine.
