Options disappeared and cannot be set anymore #74

After last update of Tab Image Saver (v4.0.0), Options menu cannot be set. Clicking fields has no effect. I set up all the options on first use, but now they have all been deleted and cannot be set again. Help !!

I'm on Firefox 91.6.0esr (64 bits)

Does this persist after restarting Firefox?

Opening this url should show the debug console and any error:

about:devtools-toolbox?id=tab-image-saver%40mcdamo.addons.mozilla.org&type=extension

Having the same problem and the Tab Image Saver icon in the top bar doesn't work for me either. The problem does persist after restarting Firefox. I opened the Debugger, but I don't know what I'm looking for. There is a long line of code under the Tab Image Saver drop down. Is this the problem? 03062022

Open the console tab, if there are any messages or errors they will be displayed there.

There are no errors or anything in the console.

New version v4.0.2 may resolve this or help with identifying the issue.

I updated it and it worked once. Then within the same session, not even five minutes later, Firefox had apparently removed it. I installed it again and it stopped working again. I did get an error in the console this time though. It looks like this... 03072022

@Dansmithy135 thanks, unfortunately the error shows the symptom but doesn't give the cause.

I'm surprised to hear that TIS stopped working mid-session and was removed or disabled without your interaction. I wonder if you have another addon that is causing this, perhaps some kind of profile management?

v4.0.5 has been added with a fix for the inbuilt extensions manager.

I have a few addons, but they had worked well enough with TIS for quite a while. The weird thing is that whatever removed it only removed it the one time after the update and then it was fine with it. Anyway, v4.0.5 seems to have fixed the problems I was having with it. Thank you so much for everything.

Same answer for me. I managed to set the options and restarted the session several times. Everything seems ok now. Thanks a lot !
