Remember to turn off assertions in release #18

We have assertions turned on to try to catch some beta tester bugs. This should be turned off in the release build. Maybe I should set up another scheme so that Bob builds a production build with release assertions.

Created a "Beta" build type so that it can support assertions. Fixed in 71c0180b0aa041aa260e8d3e05b79394237de5e2
