Documented different transportation databases

Generally, there are as follows:

• materials
  • contains mass and type
• stg codes
  • maps materials to stg codes
• mode
  • names the types of transportation modes (air, rail, barge, etc.)
• scenario
  • names the types of scenarios (domestic, global, etc.)
• mode_scenario
  • creates a map of each scenario and its subsequent mode of transportation. Useful because these two variables together dictate emissions and distances (i.e. domestic rail, global air, regional cement truck, etc.)
• transportation mode emissions
  • emissions based on transportation mode and scenario. also contains return trip factor
• distances
  • distances based on transportation mode and scenario
