Mel registered for FIE, which had a little “special needs” box into which I put something like “Hi, I’m deaf and need ASL interpretation and/or realtime captioning” note, almost verbatim like that b/c I didn’t think of copypasting in time).

Kevin Curry from FIE wrote back and said "do you have someone to point us to," whereupon Mel pointed to Brittany, and long story short... she's coming (I think?) Bouncing ticket to Brittany since this is now in her court.

Yep. I should buy cowboy boots, since it's in Texas and all.
