This is us playing with dynamics quite a bit. Sometimes it is really good to have Brittany in the conversation as Brittany, which is apparently weird (clearly, Mel is writing this with no knowledge of what "normal" in the terp world is -- she is hoping Brittany will fill in context if needed later in this ticket).
In most circumstances, Brittany is "just" terping. There's the open question as to when, where, and how she enters the conversation as herself -- for instance, when we're talking about accessibility stuff with colleagues, it makes sense... but when else?
When should she channel requests/needs/etc through Mel ("I need a break" -- then Mel says "hey folks let's take a break," but the control is with Mel) and when should Brittany just say it herself? In other words, Brittany asks for what she needs from the room (which rooms, when?)
Open question, scattered notes... logging as an open thought.
