Incorporate redshift emulation #2

I believe I'm going to have emulate with respect to redshift. To be clear, I'm not totally sure that I have to for our use case, but it will essentially also prototype the cosmology aspect of the emulator. It will require a pretty significant overhaul.

The emulate_z branch has been merged and some final debug steps performed. I'm making this issued as resolved.
