Hi,

I have just found this nice project of yours.

After the board is assembled, how is the EPROM loaded? Do we use a programmer to load esxdos?

Thank you.

Hi! To program the EEPROM with ESXDOS you have to get ESXDOS latest version (0.8.9 at the time of this writting), and you will find ESXMMC.TAP . You must load that file using audio to your Spectrum and follow instructions Enviado desde mi iPhoneEl 26 oct 2023, a las 23:55, barbiani @.***> escribió: Hi, I have just found this nice project of yours. Greetings from Slovenia

I have just build this awsome PCB and now I get an error when trying to upload firmware. I have fully working ZX spectrum 48k, load the ESXMMC.TAP via tape player, put the DIVTIESUS switch do DIS position (red led ON), hit any key on spectrum and it gives me the error: CANNOT FLASH DIVIDE ERROR 0 OK, 3:8

What am I doing wrong? Please help? Best Regards, Denis 20240703_114013 20240703_114030

Hi, late response but just in case you still did not have the answer: that probably means that the eeprom 28c64b is write protected, so you have to use the EPROTECTOR utility from Velesoft to unprotect the eeprom and after a reset you will be able to program it. Hope it helps!
