Hi,

I think the SHA-3 family would also make a nice addition to the hash function!

What do you think, @mcmilk ?

Is there really need for it in an archiver?

If you want to count hashes, count them with specialized programs. example https://www.ov2.eu/programs/rapidcrc-unicode

Actually there are already quite a few hashes present, some oh which should not be used anymore (MD5, SHA1, ...) And SHA-e works totally different from SHA-2, that gives additional security for the future, when exchanging or storing the hashes...

With me it is also a work thing, I dont always wann disuss with IT, what is running on the computer... 😁

So I think it should be in... BR; ALex

Sorry, I have no interest in more hashes currently.
