Momentary lagback when switching to/from a tool with efficiency #17

Describe the bug

This bug only impacts non-1.20.6 clients.

When switching from/to a tool with efficiency, you are unable to move for a brief moment. This only happened after the 1.20.6 server update.

Expected behavior

You should be able to move freely while switching between any slot.

To reproduce

  1. Grab an efficiency pickaxe / axe / shovel from the kit creator
  2. Put it into the hotbar
  3. Switch from / to the tool while walking around
