simplehists should support macosx backend #11

I am adding a workaround for the to condatest.yml, but we should remove it again when this is resolved.

A quick test shows that it works, and the temporary workaround for #21 was also removed.

It might be that we will discover corner cases giving problems on osx, but if so we will deal with them as we find them. Closing.
