Looking at the GBIF map for Colostethus elachyhistus http://www.gbif.org/species/2429234 there are eight records for this neotropical frog from Texas http://www.gbif.org/occurrence/search?TAXON_KEY=2429234&HAS_GEOSPATIAL_ISSUE=false&GEOMETRY=-116+18%2C-116+49%2C-60+49%2C-60+18%2C-116+18
Looking at the record for http://mczbase.mcz.harvard.edu/guid/MCZ:Herp:A-5443 and clicking on the link to the catalogue image http://ids.lib.harvard.edu/ids/view/8462766?buttons=y it looks like the locality data for eight records of "Prostherapis pulchellus" (Peru: Querocotilla) has been replaced with that for Rana palustris (Texas, Spring City).
This issue has been forwarded to the collection staff who are checking the data.
These data have been checked and fixed by the collection staff.
Thanks!
Eight records, including this one, seem to have been confused due to conflating two taxa in the MCZ catalogue.
