St George Canyon is not in Utah. It is in Arizona approximately 60 km south of St. George, UT. THERE IS NO ST GEORGE CANYON IN UTAH. The locality data have likely been confused at one of the probably several times they've been transcribed. Notes to ledger, ledger to database, etc. "S. Utah, near Arizona line" likely meant "South of Utah" not "southern Utah" At any rate, St. George Canon is the most specific part of the locality, and it is in only one place in the United States, and that is 50 km south of the AZ/UT state line... in Arizona. It is named on the 7.5 USGS quad.
