Export not setting current working directory to my documents #83

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. launch
2. click export

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
directory selected is app directory not my documents

On OSX when launching out of /Applications it picks Desktop (perhaps from prior 
run?)
