Export filechooser sometimes hangs on re-launch #90

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. click export icon
2. click export button
3. click cancel
4. repeat steps 2 & 3

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Eventually the filechooser will not launch and the program will hang
