Audio does not work with android speakers, or bluetooth

Android version 10, Bose SoundLink mini Samsung Galaxy A6

"Somehow I seem to be unable to connect my phone with my speaker box while your app is on. I use it with Spotify all the time, but the moment I open your app it disconnects" "So I'm actually connected to my box, but it won't play the sounds of your app. I'll check the settings again" "It keeps playing everything on my phone" "I checked the settings of my box and of your app again, and everything should be fine"

got an email today from mohammed.zakaria.kaleem@gmail.com: "I've got a weird issue. The app only plays through my phone call speaker (as in the one you use while on a phone call that's super quiet unless your ear is right up against it). I'm using a Samsung S21 Ultra if that helps. I do hope you can help as I think this app will be my go to for bed time. If you could also look into a sleep timer like stop playing after a user-set time that would be great too."
