x86 / 32 bit suggestions? #158

This project lists that it is a x64 project. I'm totally fine with that. If possible, could the docs be a little more specific for what does and doesn't work with a 32 bit system, or if a user shouldn't even try? One of my systems is a 32 bit system that I was intending to convert to a retrorig with this project.

@beaumanvienna , care to weigh in as well? I think a lot of it has to do with the packages, and locations of some system libraries. Give me a little bit of time to look into this. Is there a reason why you can't reinstall on that system with a 64 bit distro? Just curious. We did have one user try, and I think he had mixed success, but I think it may be doable.

It shouldn't be a problem. All packages (except dolphin-emu) are available as 32bit packages: https://launchpad.net/~beauman/+archive/ubuntu/retrorig/+packages

I have to admit that I never tested RR on a 32bit system.

When it comes to dolphin-emu, it used to build for both architectures before, I can have a look at that when I'm at home in a few days.

@zo0o0ot : We really appreciate beta testers and folks asking questions here. Feel free to share any feedback with us. Just let us know if you like to get new features, or which functions do and which do not work for you, your system specs, and so on. Thanks a lot!

I have an IBM Thinkpad X41 tablet (Pentium M - 32 bit), and I'm trying to convert it to a dedicated retrorig for my nephews. I'll let you know how everything turns out.
