This is likely due to some renaming debate with platform/p8-platform, which kodiplatform is derived from, and in turn this package depends on. I will rebuild the PVR's tonight, since platform has since been reverted before the name change in my repository. When that is complete, i'll have you retest.
Sound good?
Excellent.
@petroid PVR addons are syncing now to the repo. Should be available in about 30 minutes due to the amount of data. Due to some PVRs previous using date versioning vs. the root version (I used to use the master branch on a few, when I was mistaken there was not an Isengard branch), so you must issue the set of commands below in order to "flush out" the old version. I apologize for this and this should be corrected going forward (.e.g. for Jarvis). I have verified all of the PVR addons are built against the Isengard branch, which follows 'platform' not 'p8-platform'. Upstream will use 'platform' for Jarvis. Obviously, replace ADDON below with the PVR you wish to install.
These commands will go in the whats-new.md announcement page shortly.
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get purge kodi-pvr*
sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-ADDON
Please let me know if you have further issues. Close the ticket when satisfied. You were certainly right, and sharp to quickly report the apt-cache policy on the package, thank you. Likewise, verify you new installs against that output.
Thanks! Everything now works as it should. Since iptvsimple is the only pvr addon I'm using I can't report if other addons are alright.
No problem @petroid. I'll be more careful of the addons going forward. Next stop, Jarivs :)
Before update it worked flawlessly.
