There are not enough field controls in the Table view when the note does not have data for the required key. For example, there is a field with the Date type, but the date is not marked. In the table we just have a dash sign, but we cannot add a date without opening the note. In the note itself in viewing mode, we can open a window for adding information, regardless of whether it is there or the field is empty.
