Obsidian freezes when a large Excalidraw drawing is opened #672

When I open an large Excalidraw drawing (with 1500+ elements), Obsidian freezes. Disabling the Metadata Menu plugin resolves this issue.

Not sure how to proceed with this issue.

PS. Might it be related to https://github.com/mdelobelle/metadatamenu/issues/660 ?

Similar to what was reported in #660 , this issue is resolved by turning off Community Plugins -> Metadata Menu -> Metadata Menu button -> Properties
