I don't use tags in Obsidian, instead I opened a properties field called "linktags" and I link my notes as if they were tags. But it seems that I can't use the metadata menu this way. Let's say I have a fileclass called "Foods" and I made the fileclass field alias "linktags" in fileclass settings. When I type "[[Foods]]" in the fileclass field in the Apple.md file, the metadata menu does not link them, only when I type "Foods". And if I don't link the notes in that field, there is no point in doing all this.
Also this plugin also permanently freezes obsidian when I open a large pdf, even if I blacklist the .pdf extension or the path to my library in the settings
