Errors on window resize #204

Following changes introduced in 942bcb023402d508528458693354e643d72643cf to display uncaught exceptions.

Resizing a browser window that has an odd number of panels causes multiple errors.

The errors were caused by creating a Metro splitter with a single child when a column has a single panel. A splitter must have at least two child elements.
