Browser Compatibility Table uses wrong Firefox logo #11190

Open FormularSumo opened 1 month ago

FormularSumo commented 1 month ago

Summary

The logo used next to Firefox and Firefox for Android is the general Firefox brand logo, rather than the logo for the Firefox browser.

More context: FX_Design_Blog_Logos_Family https://blog.mozilla.org/opendesign/firefox-the-evolution-of-a-brand/

This is an example of the logo that I think should be used instead: firefox-browser

Whereas this is the current one: firefox For example: image

There appears to be no official monochrome Firefox Browser logo, see: https://mozilla.design/firefox/#logos-usage

Never mind, found the official one color version of the Firefox Browser logo in this ZIP archive: https://mozilla.design/files/2019/10/Firefox-Browser-Logo-Assets.zip

That looks identical to the one I found online so must be where it's from! I think it would be good to swap to using it.
