its becomes impossible to replay immediately after the credits roll and the player is returned to the main menu

Can't remember at the moment, does it return them to the menu or the start screen. It should be start screen.

Just to clarify, the issue occurs when the player tries to start another game by touching the play button. They get stuck on the pre-scene questions. It's caused by the current canvas index not resetting on loading the title screen.
