Lousy Level Editor doesn't seem to be saving properly. #451

I'm trying to put my 2 characters into a scene, so they are starting side by side.

  1. I went into the Lousy Level Editor and placed those Specital Items (actor start location) 1 and 2 starting points where I want them. See pic.
  2. I saved the Editor file to my desktop.
  3. I loaded the file.
  4. When I start the scene, it still has them in their old default locations. What am I doing wrong???

I'm still trying to figure this out. I can't make either of my actors walk around the scene either. My guess is, that particular level doesn't allow any actor walking around. (Very limited NavMesh???). How do you SEE the actual NavMesh in a scene? How do you know from scene to scene what areas are available for characters to walk on? Is there a visible way of seeing it? Is there a command in the Command Window? Can you ADD NavMesh to the floor of a scene? ... or is NavMesh only allowed on NEW objects? I'm so confused.

Also... that Podium in the middle. No matter how many times I move it or attempt to delete it, I can't. If I move it out of the scene and SAVE that scene... it still there when I come back. It always comes back. So apparently there are elements in each scene that you can't permanently change, even though the Level Editor does allow you to select and move those things. UGH.
