Are you using the latest version which is 1.2.4-beta at the time of this
writing? This was an issue in earlier builds but should be working now. I have
tested this on a Nexus One and a G1, two very different screen sizes.

i swear God i am using the latest version of your fantastic software which is
of course 1.2.4-beta ,,,,,, please support the thousands of users of htc
wildfire, lets show them how this small non-expensive machine is capable of
!!!!!!!! go on forward with all the blessing keeping you safe from all nasty
cacodemons ;-) ...
...............................
Another suggestion, why not simply "compile" all the (*.wad) and (sound) files
that we have to download by bluetooth into your prboom4android application?????
i guess it will be so great to have the application ready for use with only the
need of end users like us to get licensed (*.wad) files of the complete doom
game !!! please take this seriously ....
...............................
Greetings from weak doom players to a marvellous programmer ;-) THANK YOU.

I can verify that this is a specific issue for the Wildfire.

It must have something to do with the scaling on the 320x240 screen.

I'm running Cyanogen ROM 7.03, with my Density changed (Using LCD Density) from
120 to 100 and I get the exact same issue as the OP.

Thanks Mr Mose!!! there should be a guild for htc wildfire buyers!!! most of us
think that we got something less than we have paid our hard earned money for
!!! there should have been at least a graphics processor in that mobile :-(

Please download the latest PrBoom4Android, which at the time of this post is
1.2.5-beta. I believe I was able to track down the issue, but I do not have a
device with that small of a screen so I cannot be 100% sure. If it does now
work correctly, please let me know so I can mark this issue as fixed.

The controls appear to be working 100% now. However, I have noticed a slight
scaling problem where the controls on the top are overlapping (Particularly the
Map/1 button and the 9/Y button).

HOWEVER, this may be because I'm running a Custom ROM. I found setting the
Screen Density down to 100 (From 120) corrected the issue.

Could another Stock Wildfire user please confirm this?

To repeat - the controls are now working 100%. Awesome job Clark, and thanks a
million for an awesome app :3

I am now closing this issue. If there is overlapping of buttons then please
create a new issue for it.
