Is this project dead? It would really be ashame. When it worked in the past, it worked beautifully.
It is not dead, but I haven't found any problem pairing with any version. At most, once HA updates, I have to repair following the same steps.
On the other hand, I cannot reproduce as all my tests are done with Intel Nuc and VMWare.

@wishmaster1984 - please make sure that you have removed the Bluetooth pairing from the Madoka thermostat. I had that issue some months back (I also have a RPi3) and it was that I hadn't properly removed the old paring with the thermostat, although I though I had gone through the procedure.
Also, try to reboot the RPi and restart the thermostat as well (you will need to cut the current to the inverter).
Hello, how is status of announced certification for Home Assistant core integrations ? Thank you and good luck with this great project !
I've done the pairing several times before but it seems that now I'm unable to pair after upgrading the latest HAS Operating System. The error I keep getting when doing a pair on pi3 = Failed to pair: org.bluez.Error.AuthenticationFailed
It worked like a charm before on other pi3's.
