Change FDQN before installation? #316

Hello,

I'm running the following system:
Debian 6.0. 64-bit
OpenVZ

I have followed the installation steps. After installation I'm told the login
control panel is on the following URL: http://my-servername:3000
(http://minimi:3000) and not http://my-server-ip:3000

This leads to that I can't access the control panel. How do I change so it is
my ip of my server instead? Should I change something in /etc/hosts, and if,
what?

Greetings

I don't understand the reason. Change for what? It's just a suggestion after
successful installation. You can use any other way to access the panel if you
like (FQDN, IP address).

Thanks for reply.

I'm not to used to setting up own servers. Although I have set up Virtualmin
plenty of times. After installing Virtualmin you automatically could access the
control panel through http://server-ip:10000. But after installing
ovz-web-panel, trying to access the control panel through http://server-ip:3000
I just got "Page not found".

Do I have to edit some config or is ovz-web-panel meant to run directly after
installation on http://server-ip:3000 without changing any config?
