Cant upgrade v2.92 to v2.98 #137

Getting the error Failed to write file to storage when trying to upgrade from v2.92 to v2.98

Tried restarting then running upgrade no difference, using Chrome on Linux as browser.

There are all the settings, with personal things removed

I was having this problem as well. I found this comment that correctly states to *upload the `wican-fw-.binand not the.zip`**.

Ah, awesome thanks illl give that a go later when my car is home again.

If that is the case then IMO this is still an issue, and assuming the file can't be unzipped automatically then it should at least return an error saying it is a zip file and to unzip etc

This was defintly me just uploading the zip instead of the bin. I may leave this open as I'm sure others will do the same, so would be good to get a better error message when something thats not a bin is uploaded
