Compatibility - [Mac OS] [Safari] - [Camera view] #309

I am working off a MacBook Pro (I7 on safari, Mac OS Big Sur), but when I give the camera permissions and start the cam I don't get an camera view. when I go to an other safari tab en get back to the scanner tab the cam view is there and works fine.

(when the cam view is not visible it still can scan QR codes)

this is surprising - any console error?

Please share a screenshot / screen video for better understanding.

hi @mebjas, no console error's. See video voor explanation, when I start the cam it doesn't show the feed wen I klick to another tab and back then it works.

I get the same thing:

MacOS Monterey 12. Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro16,1 Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz

Safari Version 15.2 (17612.3.6.1.6)

Although it works fine with Safari on IoS 15.2

I'm having the same issue - and can confirm that when I start a new tab, and go back to the QR Scanner tab, the camera view is there.

MacOS Monterey 12.1 Model Name: MacBook Air (M1, 2020) Version 15.2 (17612.3.6.1.6)
