Items need to be compatible with the desktop #17

Items, such as an ExternalLink need a way to be handled as desktop icons.

ExternalLink links can only be accessed through the FileManager where the link is exposed. If this item is moved to the desktop, there is no way to access the link.

[ ] Create icon file
