Translation files can't be found on Debian Linux

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Starting the program from a console window

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The texts in the GUI should appear in german after startup, but every text
element appears in english.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I checked out "trunk" from the SVN repository on 21.3.10.
The Python version used for running dxf2gcode is "Python 2.6.4+" right from
the debian packet management system. The machine is set up with the locale
"de_DE" and it works fine with with several programs.

Please provide any additional information below.
There were no error messages regarding to missing python packages or
anything like that, so I startet investigation. I tracked it down to the
reason, that the directory which holds the LC_Messages is named "DE_de"
where it is called "de" or "de_DE" in other applications. After renaming
the directory to one of those and restarting dxf2gcode all translated
messages where in german language.
I don't know how this behaves on other operating systems, but maybe this
would fix the problem in general?

Should be fixed with new pyQT Version which changed internationalisation 
Support.
