logs don't seem to get written on Mac

I cannot find a file (or even the folder rtii) in /users/hendrik/Desktop/rtii/logs/...

i do have an existing folder on Desktop by the name of "RTII" all caps.

i think i might have fixed it, please try again in the 03-29-2021 build.
