issues with connecting python to R shiny socket #8

we had some problems using the demos to connect the R shiny web app and the rasa server over sockets.

We need to understand:

what exactly have been tried
what exact issue people are facing (trouble with connecting to the R socket? from any language or only python? from python-standalone or only specifically python running a rasa server?)
