This issues lists more or less global objectives to achieve during later subversions of medInria 4.

[ ] extract scenes functions (toXMLNode, fromXMLNode, medAbstractLayeredView::write, medAbstractLayeredView::restoreState).
[ ] parameters don't format data to xml directly. We must use new software architecture. Parameters must exchange abstract representation with a specific IO class to read/write files in XML or other future format.

Remove isolated voxels/pixels

[x] Icons, names, description, theme needs to be easily changed in fork-projects. Idea: directory/json file with all the icons, text, image, etc.
[ ] Plugin system

[ ] Linux: a real package to install the software
- [ ] Ubuntu: a real DEB package to install the software
- [ ] Fedora: a real RPM package to install the software
[ ] Embed Qt

[x] Improve Home page ergonomics and style
[ ] Add method in API to access the menubar from toolboxes/workspaces
[ ] Menu bar -> Tools -> Preferences or Settings: display a window with every medInria settings (before: dtkSettingsEditor in medSettingsEditor
[ ] Homepage, update the max number of column buttons in workspace grid, with the app resizeEvent
[x] Cleaning of old icons, every icons in the same area, black and white icons for themes, svg icons (also Modularity)
[ ] Mesh, deactivate unused mouse interaction buttons
[ ] Create a toolbar/ribbon on top of the application (under the menu) with data search tools and interactions buttons. Thumbnail in it?
[ ] Left and right columns can be hidden/folded
[ ] Dockable views, toolboxes, treeview (for >= 4.1)
