Unclear description when describing optional fields #2

When describing optional fields in the UG, the phrase "can be used as blank" appears. I am unsure if there is a formatting bug here. If it's not a bug, the description can be made clearer.

This is a cosmetic issue, as it was meant to be a blank.

Reason for disagreement: I disagree, mainly because the phrasing is unclear in this case and the issue isn't purely cosmetic. A purely cosmetic issue would cause little to no confusion but just a minor hindrance, but the error in question suggests that there might be missing text in the box, especially when the examples that follow do not exactly tell the reader what is to be expected, leading to confusion.
