as suggested in the ME wiki at: https://github.com/mediaelement/mediaelement/wiki/Home,
I think the idea below might bring much attention to the mediaelement player and benefit to the whole community around this player. If you know someone who would like to volunteer to write such a plugin, I think everyone here would be happy to help him, isn't it ?
The main idea of the plugin would be:
to collect feedback from users of mediaelement regarding for example: "browser version used, quality of support, felicitations for the team, report of possible improvements/issues with a very short field, like 3 lines)
ask the user, at first run of the player, if he wants to send feedback about gold, silver, bronze,no COMPATIBILITY (inspiration from the "Crossover Compatibility Database" (from CodeWeavers, the Company supporting the Wine project).
put the information in the appropriate database (redis ?)
format the COMPATIBILITY output in a useful table (inspired from rockbox builds and compatibility targets webpage)
format the FEEDBACK / ISSUES / FELICITATIONS lines into a user friendly panel to show feedback about mediaelement player !
I hope the idea will be of some interest to a few of us ... give feedback here if it makes sense to you :)
